About TWM! The Wild Mongooses are a group of friendly people who share common interests such as gaming and graphics. While these topics are the core that TWM is built around, we have many other interests and hobbies, and openly discuss them, too. There are no age or any other requirements at all, you don't even have to game or be interested in graphics to join!   A Short History Of TWM... In 2004 Wizet started beta testing a brand new game, MapleStory. Many people joined and the game was a major success. Later on in 2004 a young man decided that he liked this game and that he and his friends needed a place to hang out and talk about stuff, this was Syntax. Syntax used his many resources and contacts from OnRPG to gather users and info (even a name xD). The Wild Mongooses were born. TWM grew into a huge community and rose to be one of the top MapleStory Guilds. Over the past year or so, the popularity of MapleStory within the forums declined as members moved to other games such as World Of Warcraft and Counter-Strike: Source. Some members stopped gaming completely. This has led TWM to grow, evolve, and mature into much more than a gaming forum. It now encompasses topics that stretch from WoW to guitar & music to graphic arts.
